Takeoff description
Launch is just above the giant letter Y on the west side of the mountain. Elevation is 6,300 feet above sea level or 1,700 feet above the valley below. Great view overlooking Utah Valley just above BYU campus.
Rules and notes
Don't fly too far out over the Provo suburbs to keep within FAA regulations for paragliders, and watch out for the large power lines running north-south at the base of the mountain.

The best thermal comes from the nub on the ridge above the cliffs 500 yards north of the launch zone.
