Takeoff description
North start, mountain peak. GPS: N 43°42.240, E 18°15.420, Altitude: 2068m/6784ft Start for takeoff is on NE side, providing takeoff ability from NNW winds to pure east winds. Takeoff is possible from stone plateau, couple of grass covered flat fields, or from steep grass slope. These are not high demanding starts so less experienced pilots can find their place for takeoff and enjoyment. In south wind directions experienced pilots can start just below Observatory on south side, while those less experienced can go about 200m ESE and find grass fields to spread wings They are lots of other starts on Bjelasnica on lower altitude, oriented for all wind directions. Some of them, in winter time, are posible to reac with cable car.
