Pilot comments

This is not a site recommended for beginner pilots. Experienced hanglider and paraglider pilots (P3+) will enjoy beautiful mountain/desert thermalling with eagles, and often visit could base at 18k feet! Cross country flights to Steamboat Springs are possible! Incredible sunset flights are handed out like candy. Manage your altitude wisely as you will need some air to reach the corral LZ. An alternate landing can be made in the Snake Pit, which is actually quite easy for PG pilots. For 'easy' XC follow I-40 East (as far as Steamboat Springs); do NOT land north of the Yampa River (very difficult retrieve).
