Takeoff description
Large grassy area that rolls over into wildflowers. This is located just after 214 splits off of 11. More launch areas available off of 214 as it wraps around the basin. Explore!

Don't vandalize, trash, or burn the area. Otherwise it's BLM land and you can pretty much do what you want.
Pilot comments
A beautiful launch into an open and arcing basin. This is a lee site so plan accordingly. Most of the land is State/BLM but there are private parcels throughout. Know where you are! I have flown this site twice, 1 sledder to Pumphouse, 1 small soaring flight to 114. I am adding it here if any pilots with more experience are interested in trying for more. (or if anyone is looking for a beautiful sledder in a new area)
