Takeoff description
Ideal site for H&F or soaring in the afternoon valley breeze. Convenient for combining with a visit of Sacra S. Michele, which can be reached by a footpath from S.AMbrogio (600m vertical gain), via Ferrata, or simply by car. The take-off itself, recently opened and cleaned, is large enough to host 2-3 gliders simultaneously. The take-off is a bit steep, but suitable for all levels of skill except only the very beginners.
