The takeoff is located inside the Park of Majella: it has an altitude of about 1100 m, it is exposed to the west and allows you to fly across the valley Peligna. It is recommended to use it on days with westerly winds and low-intensity (pre or post frontal) keeping in mind that due to the proximity of the Adriatic Sea, there is a predominance of winds from the northeast at high altitude.
