Both dynamic and thermic, this valley is among the areas most exposed to the sunlight in the whole country. Expect strong thermals in noon hours. With light wind excellent spot for top to bottom student flights. Ideal for tandem flights as well. Spectacular views of the valley and “Volcan de San Vicente”. Dry Season Nov-May with the incidence of strong north winds in 2-4 day periods specially through Nov-Feb, but SE winds are predominant during the rainy season(june-november), making it flyable year round.

Beautiful region of El Salvador, offering spectacular views of the valley and the volcano. There is another site nearby that faces southwest as well. Great spot for students, tandems, and ground handling.
