Descripción del despegue
This is a very tight place for PPG flights only. Winds from the southeast to south are the only suitable launch direction. The area open/closes at sunrise/sunset with other times being padlocked shut. One must fly the shoreline out over the water and be prepared and skilled to do spot (< 25') landings should you encounter an engine problem. If you do not have the skill, then you need to seek other LZ's.

Out local PPG pilots consider this to be an Advanced LZ for launching and landing. It is not recommended for beginner nor intermediate pilots. One has a very tight LZ to launch from as well as landing options can be a challenge for anyone not able to do a spot landing.
