Despite west being the easiest site in the entire black forest, guests are required to have a German "B-Schein", or IPPI card level 5 or equivalent. You also need a local "mentor" for each flight(!) and fill out some paperwork (again, for each. single. takeoff.), so ask around. Yeah, welcome to Germany.
