Takeoff description
460 meters. When arriving in Reinhardsmunster turn left onto the road to Obersteigen. 1 km later, GO STRAIGHT AHEAD and follow the forest road which leads to a car park at an intersection (6 km). Once parked turn south and you can choose one of 2 paths that lead to the takeoff. The main one is the one behind the wooden ramp/gate: walk 100m along a forest road then there's a small path going right and diagonally up the hill for another 100m to the takeoff. There's an INFO PANEL just as you arrive, READ IT :) An alternative path from the parking is parallel and above the first one. It starts 20m to the west of the ramp. Always stay left and when you exit the forest and walk another 50m you'll see the takeoff on your left. Large and relatively easy take off. A bit steep, covered with astroturf(carpet). Slippery when wet! Landing on the right not visble until you take off. For HG landing is better on the left, at the practice area/spot. Can be seen from the takeooff.
