Takeoff description

There are numerous launch options, but good flights have been made from the terraces beneath Sail Mhor (around 350m above sea level). The easiest way to reach these is to follow a rough path which leaves the A832 at Ardessie and leads up past a series of fine waterfalls. Once the path begins to level out a little, leave it and break out in a westerly direction to cross the Allt Airdeasaidh and so reach the edge of the terraces and good take off areas.
