Takeoff description
Note: Launching a glider ('Flying from') the Killarney National Park is not permitted by the rules of the park.... however this does not exclude flying above the park. Talk off area is a clear field, at the far end of the Tomies Wood walking track. (there is a long 1 hour walk (4km) from the car to the take off area, along a well maintained off road track. The take off looks out over Lough Leane to the North and East
