GPS: 13°52'40.56'N; 89°31'3.48'W Elevation : 1004 m Orientation: Southwest This takeoff is managed by “Los Zopilotos”, your local flying club. All “Zopilotos” can fly without restrictions. Technical and small take off. Excellent rigde soaring site, spectacular views of the crater lake Coatepeque, an ancient volcano the erupted thousands of years ago. Expect to get a lot of flying time and be carefull when the wind is too strong, it makes it tough to come down. The vehicle drives to the takeoff and pilot recovery is easy as well. Season Nov - Aug
